Mood: dA Love

Hey, I've left for personal reasons. I've put my deviations into storage, but I'm leaving my journals and stuff up. I might be back one day! Put my journal on your notification list, and you'll know when I come back, if I come back.

It's been nice knowing all you guys! Thanks for everything. You have no idea how much I've appreciated my stay here.

Heeeeeeeeeey, I'm Josh, or EvanescentMoon. I've been on deviantART for over a year now, and I'm still in love with it. Before DA, my art life was pretty dull, and new ideas didn't come so easily. But now, I see new art from people every day, and all the amazing artists here inspire me to no end.

My inspiration comes from a lot of things... Sometimes it's just random, like I'll have a stray thought and it'll turn into a picture. Sometimes I'll start drawing with an idea in mind, and then completely change it halfway through. Music, movies, and books are also a great inspiration to me. It's really hard to find truly inspirational ones, though. A lot of the books and movies these days are only about action, and authors and directors are using the same old crap over and over again, but every once in awhile I'll see one that's really original and inspiring. Most of the music I find inspiration in is dark and epic, like Within Temptation and The Cruxshadows, or emotionally-charged, like My Chemical Romance and Saosin, or dreamy and etheral, like BT and Armin van Buuren, etc.

I live in North Carolina, and it's pretty boring here. I barely know any other artists, but when I find them, I'm pretty happy! I'm not popular, but I have some really great friends, and that's all I want.

I don't have anywhere specific I get my outfits from, a lot of them are from random places online or handmade, the only place that I religiously buy from is Maschine Nation who make me my cyberlox. Sorry I couldn't be of more help!
